A leading Northern Territory Government-owned utility provider is seeking an experienced ICT Technical Architect to join their Strategy and Architecture team within the broader ICT business unit. This contract role is a senior-level position titled Principal Technical and Infrastructure Architect , responsible for leading the design and delivery of enterprise-level architectural solutions that support the organisation's strategic and operational needs. This is a non-supervisory role reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Strategy & Architecture , and involves collaboration across internal teams, external customers, and senior leadership. Key Responsibilities Enterprise Architecture Development: Define and document technology and infrastructure direction aligned with enterprise goals. Architecture Requirements Management: Design and deliver solutions that meet stakeholder needs and comply with standards. Standards Definition: Contribute to the development of sustainable technical and infrastructure standards. Opportunity Identification: Support the selection and implementation of architectural opportunities and innovations. Solution Architecture: Oversee the design, procurement, and maintenance of IT infrastructure components. Consulting & Advisory: Provide expert-level guidance in technical and infrastructure domains. Knowledge Management: Maintain and enhance the enterprise architecture repository and tools. Tool & Template Development: Create resources that support business outcomes and improve operational efficiency.
