We’re looking for a Logistics Supervisor to join us in Arndell Park, NSW. This is where our Logistics Supervisor comes in In the Logistics Supervisor role, you’ll lead on everything from dispatch scheduling, delivery optimisation and load & route planning - looking at different ways to gain financial benefits and operational efficiencies. You’ll be a natural team leader who will motivate and train our Customer Delivery Representatives in all key areas of distribution, which is a critical part of the success of the NSW operation. You’ll also work alongside the Warehouse Supervisor in leadership and process improvement - being a catalyst for change management; sharing team members as requirements change in the Warehouse & Distribution space. Also, supporting cross-training in both areas to provide flexibility, and to support succession planning in the wider Warehouse & Distribution team. From the first day to your initial 6 months and beyond, you’ll have built solid internal relationships across the key functions, learned all roles the delivery drivers carry out and the distribution functions to work across any area as required by the Distribution Manager. Importantly, you'll have started to make your mark on how existing processes can be improved. Sharp minds and trusted hands: here’s who we’re looking for: As a dedicated, safety-focused team leader, you’re comfortable motivating, developing, and supporting your team to achieve our key performance outcomes, and provide sound recommendations around continuous improvement of overall quality of work. You’ll also bring: - Minimum 12 months’ experience within a supervisory or management role in a warehouse and distribution environment - Dispatch and Transport experience with a basic understanding of Logistics best practice - Solid working knowledge of warehouse safety principles and leading by example -Strong track record of developing high performing teams through excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills - Experience in planning & distribution and warehouse operations - In-depth knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) – ideally experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or SAP - Chain of Responsibility (COR) knowledge and experience In addition, it would be highly desirable if you have the following, but not a must: - Previous battery experience or knowledge - Dangerous Goods experience or knowledge - Forklift licence or MR licence - Warehouse/Distribution qualifications - First Aid Certificate The groundwork has been set for a motivated, people and customer focused team leader to be a part of a high-performing team.
