We are seeking an innovative Autonomy Project Engineering Manager (PEM) to join our team and contribute to the execution and development of autonomous-system capabilities that support our products and align with the broader Boeing enterprise Autonomy Capabilities Team (ACT). The main role of the PEM is to support the Autonomy Capability Hub (ACH) and Autonomy Capabilities Team (ACT) leadership to execute and deliver on projects in autonomy. Due to the International nature of the role and business as a whole, there may be the requirement to support after hours meetings and calls, however flexibility is encouraged. Domestic and international travel may be required on an ad-hoc basis. This role is a permanent position based in Brisbane with hybrid conditions. About the Role Execute ACT/ACH projects, supporting Agile development and task management Support the design, development, integration and test of technical solutions Stakeholder engagement to maintain alignment with Boeing Business Units and Programs Manage the ACH Working Group agenda Review finance information and liaise with the finance team on anomalies Support projects in maintaining RIO items and conduct RIO reviews Own project agile, schedules and organization charts Facilitate onboarding Assist with project proposals and facilitate Inter/Intracompany Agreements Participate and document project meeting outcomes Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering Experience managing a complex technical portfolio Experience in managing projects that use agile methodologies Experience in writing / contributing to technical project proposals Experience in mentoring and providing technical support to junior engineers Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate and work as part of a cross-disciplinary global project team (written and verbal) Ability to collaborate and work as part of a cross-disciplinary project team Preferred Qualifications (Desired skills/Experience) Autonomy domain knowledge Experience in algorithm design Experience in design, development and testing of software Experience in leading projects that require functional support in global trade controls intellectual property, Australian Defence security principles, and contracts Experience in managing research and development projects Eligibility Applicants must be Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain a security clearance About Us Boeing Australia and New Zealand are shaping the future of aerospace and delivering some of the nation's most important programs for both the defence space and the manufacturing of composite components for commercial aircraft.
