About the role and where you will be working: We are currently seeking a full time Maintenance & Facilities Officer to join our expanding organisation. As a Maintenance & Facilities Officer we’ll be asking you to help ensure the safety and upkeep of our site in Forrestfield, Jeremiah Donovan House. Your responsibilities will include: Action maintenance requests and plan for required works Carry out maintenance work in a timely and tradesperson manner, there is a variety of work across various classes of buildings which can include: Patching and painting Door and window repairs Testing and tagging (we will train you) Condition audits of buildings and facilities Hard landscaping maintenance (no gardening) General "handy" tasks Strong communication skills being able to speak with a variety of people Having a passion for a safe working environment About you: You are someone who has experience in maintenance, handyman or trade works and repairs. You are able to communicate clearly with everyone involved in order to ensure the proper upkeep of our facilities.
