MGO: Where our people make the difference Mount Owen Glendell Operations (MGO) Mine located in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales, 20 kilometres North of Singleton, contains the Mt Owen and Glendell Open Cut mines. The combination of these two operations enables all sites to use a single coal handling and preparation plant (CHPP) and infrastructure at Mt Owen Mine. As an experienced Supervisor of the CHPP team, you will report to the CHPP Production Superintendent working a rotating day/night, lifestyle roster. In this role you will provide strong leadership, have a commitment to developing the CHPP team with a key focus on ensuring both daily and weekly plans are achieved for the operation. The requirements for success in this role include: Experience in supervising and leading a CHPP crew of Technicians in a front-line capacity. Strong supervisory and people management skills. Ability to manage and build positive relationships both with internal and external stakeholders. Consistent and clear communication skills will be combined with an ability to coach CHPP employees to achieve a high degree of work standards. Sound computer skills, including MS Office, SAP and CITECT. Sound understanding of CHPP maintenance activities. A trade qualification is highly desirable, either electrical or mechanical. You will have a high regard for the value of teamwork and the provision of visible leadership.
