(Pro-rata) Location: Bedford Park – Kaurna Country View Position Description About the Role End of Life Directions for Aged Care (ELDAC) is a national program of work being delivered by a consortium comprising three universities and four peak bodies to improve palliative care in aged care. The Flinders team hosts the ELDAC website, manages marketing activities and develops digital innovations. The Marketing Officer (ELDAC) is responsible for the management of the ELDAC brands. This is achieved by working closely with the ELDAC Flinders Director and Senior Research Fellow, along with the web team and researchers to ensure effective marketing and communications activities for the ELDAC project. Your contributions to this valuable project include: Developing and implementing marketing and communications activities for ELDAC to extend awareness and reach of the project Producing campaigns and promotions to support specific project needs (eg new content releases, special events etc). Ensuring the graphic design integrity of the ELDAC brand. Producing reports on marketing activity to assess effectiveness. For a more comprehensive list of key position responsibilities, please view the Position Description About You A highly organised individual, you will be able to effectively coordinate and manage projects with limited supervision. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in social media with the ability to prepare quality media communications and reports. Holding a Diploma qualification and relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and/or training in digital marketing, social media campaigns and communications, you have knowledge in graphic design processes and well-developed skills in operating graphic design software, along with: Demonstrated high level written communication skills with the ability to prepare media communications and reports. Effective, productive, and collaborative team member with a focus on project initiatives. Well-developed oral and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop productive relationships with staff at all levels within the organisation and external stakeholders. Familiarity with the health system will be highly advantageous.
