In addition, you will work in the workshop troubleshooting, designing and rebuilding pumps and working on the design of various irrigation systems in the field. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the design and troubleshooting of irrigation and water-based systems cooling systems. Determine specifications for pumps for irrigation systems and designs Service and repair a variety of agricultural, commercial and domestic pumps Troubleshoot pump issues in the field or workshop Work autonomously or in a team as required Complete service and job reports Skills and Qualifications A diploma qualification in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics or irrigation would be an advantage. 4 to 5 years’ hands-on experience with pumps and irrigation systems Ability to interpret and draft mechanical or schematic designs Have sound verbal and written communication skills Ability to adapt and coordinate your daily workload Have a supportive and customer service focused approach Remuneration starts at $76,000 depending on your qualification, skills and years of work experience.
