We’re looking for a Pen Rider to join a small, friendly team at a feedlot near Springsure, QLD. If you’ve got strong horse skills, cattle experience, and a solid work ethic, we want to hear from you. Don’t have your own horses? No problem – we can work with that. What matters most is your attitude, your cattle handling experience, and your willingness to learn. We're open to training the right person, especially if you're looking to break into the ag industry. What You’ll Be Doing: Pen riding (on horse or on foot) Checking cattle, treating health issues, drafting, and trucking Using low-stress stock handling methods Cleaning and maintaining water troughs Assisting with general feedlot maintenance What’s on Offer: 10/4 roster Comfortable single accommodation (may suit a couple) Wi-Fi and communal kitchen Horse paddock, feed and farrier included You’ll Be a Great Fit If You: Have cattle experience Are confident riding horses (with or without your own) Bring a great attitude and work well in a team Are eager to learn and get involved For more info, call Fiona on 0447 650 143.
