See more at our website - www.atsichsbrisbane.org.au Job Description About the role As a Child Health Nurse working within the Jajumbora BIOC Hub, you will have the opportunity to work in an evidence-based model dedicated to supporting families in a continuity of care birthing model that supports families from antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum stages. As a health professional in this role at ATSICHS Brisbane, you will contribute to the overall care and wellbeing of clients, helping to improve their health outcomes. You will be supported to go above and beyond for clients you serve. Duties Provide quality nursing practice within the Jajumbora Model of Care by assisting the team and effectively plan and coordinator workload to achieve results. Understanding of the principles of primary health care and the ability to work with a wide variety of professionals and the public. Effective communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal to ensure quality medical documentation. Commit to a high level of quality management for ATSICHS through use of LogiQC quality management systems. Demonstrated clinic experience and the ability to implement and support a comprehensive model of care with a view to achieve better outcomes for clients. Competence in the use of clinical software and other technology, the internet and desktop applications e.g. Outlook, Mmex, LogiQC, Word, spreadsheets and telehealth software. Operate within clinical policy and procedures at all times. Commit to ongoing continuous quality improvement processes with annual reviews into the efficiency of clinical service provision. Cultivate productive working relationships at all levels, which support the nurturing of internal and external relationships, facilitates cooperation, trust and respect, values difference and guides, mentors and focuses on the development of staff. Full un-restricted AHPHRA registration. Immunisation Endorsement and experience. Previous demonstrable experience in relevant maternal and child health nursing field. Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes. Ability to support a continuous improvement model for achieving outcomes. Decisive listening, influencing and persuasive skills. Working with Children's Card (Blue Card) or be eligible to apply. NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card) or be eligible to apply. Preferred Previous experience of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients. Previous experience in a multidisciplinary health team. Previous experience in chronic disease management.
