Your Opportunity As the Occupational Therapist, you will: Support children students to access and fully participate in learning and experience success and wellbeing across all stages of learning, in an inclusive education system supported by reasonable adjustments and teaching strategies tailored to meet their needs. Apply your professional skills and knowledge in contemporary occupational therapy and collaborate with education teams within schools to deliver high quality occupational therapy services which address barriers to student learning and enhance educational outcomes. The Occupational Therapist reports to the school Principal for operational and administrative matters and to either the Senior Regional Advisor, Occupational Therapy or Senior Occupational Therapist (Supervisory) on all clinical practice matters. Your Responsibilities As the Occupational Therapist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Develop and implement best-practice, inclusive occupational therapy services in schools Form collaborative partnerships with schools, health professionals, and families to enhance the participation and well-being of students with disability Support school staff in implementing reasonable adjustments through capability building, curriculum co-planning, resource development, and school improvement initiatives Enhance your professional knowledge and skills in paediatric occupational therapy practices by developing responsive, contemporary tiered service models that address barriers to student learning Please refer to the attached role description for the full list of responsibilities and mandatory requirements for this position.
