About the office/school The Information Technology Office plays an integral role in the success of the University, ensuring the national provision of technology solutions that enable Learning & Teaching, Research, and Administration across our University. About the role This position will be responsible for the development of business analysis requirements for enhanced IT enablement across the University. Key Responsibilities Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ascertain business needs and document business requirements for priority IT processes and managing the review and workflow processes. Liaise between the Key Stakeholders across the University to ensure technology business requirements are understood, and any shortfalls in system capacity to satisfy requirements are identified, considered, and documented. Using project management methodologies, principles, and techniques to develop project plans I dentify and evaluate inefficiencies and recommend optimal business practice processes, acting as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system project decision-making process Taking responsibility for deploying functional solutions, such as creating, adopting, and implementing system test plans UAT, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system Developing functional or business process specifications for use by system developers Qualifications, skills & experience Relevant postgraduate tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments. Experience working in a similar Business Analyst role, including systems analysis, design, and implementation experience with ERP systems across a range of business units, including People and Culture, Finance, Procurement and Payroll. Knowledge of Project Management Methodology, and ability to identify business process improvement and implement change, including gathering business requirements, UAT, training and knowledge transfer Ability to engage and build relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Proven planning, prioritisation and organisational skills, including the ability to establish and adhere to agreed project timeframes and deadlines, and coordinate and facilitate project groups and stakeholders. Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build credibility with stakeholders.
