About the role We're looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a federal government client on a strategic piece of work: delivering a 3-year Technology Roadmap and Capability Strategy across their infrastructure portfolio. This is a key role focused on collecting and synthesising inputs from across enterprise infrastructure environments – including cloud, data centre, network, IAM, digital workplace, and vendor management – to support strategic decision-making and build a cohesive roadmap. You will be responsible for Collect and consolidate inputs across cloud, on-prem, storage, network, IAM, workplace, and related infrastructure areas Lead strategic workshops and facilitate inputs from architects, engineers, and commercial leads Map contracts, platforms, and services against timelines and capability streams Identify major decision points (e.g. renew/replace/migrate) and ensure they're time-boxed with supporting context Deliver a strategic roadmap artefact covering 12/24/36 month views Work closely with internal teams to ensure roadmap aligns with business priorities and technology direction What you'll need to be successful Strong background as a Technical Business Analyst in large enterprise or, preferably, in public sector environments Broad understanding of infrastructure domains including cloud (Azure/AWS), on-prem, networking, storage, IAM, EUC Comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders from engineering to commercial Comfortable navigating complex, decentralised organisations and independently pull together a clear, structured output from lots of moving parts Experienced in turning complex technical/commercial inputs into strategic artefacts Excellent documentation and stakeholder engagement skills Nice to have Previous experience in government or regulatory environments Familiarity with large-scale vendor/contract landscapes Baseline or NV1 security clearance Before applying - This hybrid role requires majority on-site work in Sydney CBD.
