The Duties: The duties will be diverse but will include: Receiving, dispatching and handling all stock. Accurately processing and recording all associated documentation. Maintaining the stock control system and service job cards. Regular stocktakes. Loading and unloading trucks including forklift operations. General store, yard and workshop duties. The Person Requirements: The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate: Previous warehousing and stock control experience. The ability to function well in a fast paced, hands-on work environment. Excellent customer service skills and phone manner. Basic computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new programmes. Physical fitness with the ability to lift and handle stock. The ability to self-manage in a team-oriented autonomous workplace. The availability for a rotating and flexible roster for 1 Saturday morning in 3. Current manual driver licence. Although not essential requirements, preference will be shown to applicants also able to offer any of the following: Formal certificates or qualifications in Warehousing or Logistics. A current forklift licence (or the willingness to acquire quickly). A HR or HC Driver Licence. Experience in areas of Plumbing, Hardware or Irrigation. A strong mechanical aptitude or background.
