About the Family: We’re a warm and active family of three, based in beautiful Peppermint Grove. With both parents running a private business and frequently travelling for work and leisure, we’re looking for a mature, adaptable, and trustworthy nanny to become a long-term part of our household. This role is much more than just a job – it's about joining our family unit as a supportive presence for our 8-year-old daughter, helping her feel confident, secure, and inspired as she grows. A Typical Day Will Include School Time: School pick-up and transport to after-school activities Supporting with homework and school projects Engaging in play, crafts, and creative activities Managing and booking playdates and extra-curriculars Helping with pocket money routines Coordinating with other household staff as needed Holiday Periods: Planning activities and travel itineraries Packing/unpacking for family trips Organising home-based holiday fun Travelling with the family when required (both domestically and internationally) The nanny is required to stay overnight with the daughter when the family travels. Which equals roughly 50 nights a year. House hold & Admin: Grocery shopping and family meal prep Managing child’s laundry (clothes, bedding) Running errands Keeping shared spaces clean and tidy Occasional pet care Working in harmony with the housekeeper and household staff Ad Hoc Housekeeping Support: Step in during housekeeper’s leave or absence Additional tidying, laundry, and supervision of cleaners or maintenance contractors as needed The Families Dream Nanny: Experience & Skills: Proven experience in a nanny or similar childcare role Valid driver’s license with a clean record Confident cook or open to learning Tech-savvy enough to handle online bookings and scheduling Familiarity working in homes with staff preferred Personal Qualities: Mature, calm, and positive presence Flexible and able to adapt to last-minute changes Proactive and capable of working independently Warm, fun-loving, and happy to join in games, crafts, and quiet time Comfortable with occasional overnight stays and travel Qualifications/Requirements: Hold a valid First Aid and CPR Hold a valid Working with Children Check Hold a valid National Police Check A minimum of 3 years experience working with children
