THE ROLE This 6 month contract (with potential to roll on to a second 6 month contract) is responsible for establishing APRA reporting for a non-bank lender that has doubled its FUM in just over a year. YOUR SKILLSET We are looking for a CA/ CPA (1-3 years post qualified), with extensive & proven APRA EFS development and onboarding, as you will need to have experience in interpreting APRA reporting requirements in order to establish reporting framework. Specifically you will have experience spanning: Involved in APRA EFS development and onboarding i.e. Risk identification and process and controls documentation Identifying business assumptions Identifying data points (Critical Data Elements) and data sourcing Technically strong in APRA standards and AASB Involved in building and setting up APRA returns (highly regarded) Resilience to solve problems in a broad sense across the business and achieve outcomes Communication skills and strong stakeholder relationships Financial modelling experience including ECL model buildout experience highly regarded for potential future project work that will extend beyond the original 6 months Non-bank lending experience is highly desired - bonus points if you've ever had to set up APRA reporting previously! Day rate $550-700 per day including super, depending on experience. 6 month contract with view to extend (potential second project in 2026 involving advanced modelling).
