Looking for a Qualified Glazier or Carpenter who is familiar with the AS1288 standard and all things domestic and commercial glass installation to support our operational glaziers visiting customers to measure and quote on all types of installation and replacement of glass jobs. The Role Supporting our Tullamarine and Dandenong Glazing Branches, this role will drive conversion of opportunities through timely, accurate preparation, and follow-up of quotation services. This will include: Attending customer home or business sites to obtain measurements and dimensions of area for glass to be replaced or installed. Build and maintain rapport and relationships with customers, advising, and preparing accurate and appropriate quoting to meet AS1288 standards. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure a seamless and easy customer experience. Leverage expert knowledge and high attention to detail to ensure accuracy, of measurements. Convert jobs to sales whilst providing your skills and knowledge in estimation, of glass installation or replacement. About you: A qualified Glazier or Carpenter who has worked with Glass and has an understanding of the AS1288 standard. Previous Glazing or related trade experience (essential) Working knowledge of building codes and Australian standards (specifically with AS 1288) Clear communication and the ability to explain complex information for customers A passion for delivering a best in class customer experience Ability to use laser measure equipment, computers including MS office suite to create descriptions, drawings and quotes as required.
