The Role An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced People Consultant to join the People & Development (P&D) team in Clayton Utz's Perth office on a permanent full-time basis. Working with a dynamic and collaborative national team, and reporting to the Perth P&D Manager, you will play a key role in providing trusted advice to the Perth and Darwin teams. As part of the broader P&D team, you will partner with the business to deliver people initiatives and operations across the employee life cycle, ensuring alignment with the firm's overarching people strategy. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Provide advice on firm policies and employee relations matters. Deliver cyclical activities such as promotions, annual performance and remuneration reviews, and talent identification for your client groups. Drive recruitment and workforce planning initiatives to meet business needs. Collaborate with the Learning & Organisational Development team to identify individuals for the firm's excellence programs and other development opportunities. Champion culture and engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace. Coach and support employees to achieve their goals. Support the delivery of the local early career's programs. Advocate for the firm's diversity and inclusion strategy, ensuring it is embedded in all aspects of the employee experience. Promote the firm's health and wellbeing programs, connecting individuals to support services as needed. Contribute to key projects and change management initiatives that align with the firm's strategic priorities. Skills & Experience To succeed in this role, you will bring: Previous HR generalist experience in a similar business partnering role within a complex, professional, and highly client-focused environment. A proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key and senior stakeholders. Demonstrated capability to drive projects and decisions through to successful completion. Experience within the legal profession or professional services (advantageous but not essential).
