Band 5 ($75,621 - $87,032 per annum, plus allowances) Permanent full-time 8 day working fortnight About the Role This position is both operational and supervisory, with responsibility for overseeing the operations of the Road Maintenance unit, to ensure effective maintenance of approximately 950 kilometres of sealed local roads, together with a further 190 kilometres of arterial roads in conjunction with VicRoads. The role involves determining the day to day activities of the Road Maintenance Unit and is responsible for prioritisng short-term programs and works with consideration of weather, labour and plant resource availability, local access, cost and budget estimates, interim serviceability, OH&S issues and any other special/relevant factors. About You The successful applicant will have a Civil Construction Certificate (Cert IV level) and/or detailed road maintenance knowledge/experience. Experience in the implementation and supervision of municipal works is also desirable.
