The Role We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our team, reporting to the CHPP Production Superintendent. You will be primarily responsible for the safe and effective management of coal logistics and processing from the ROM to the Ravensworth Coal Terminal’s Train Load Out Facility, ensuring all product specifications and customer requirements for Ravensworth customers are met. In this role you will be responsible for: Monitoring of day to day plant operation and initiating actions to optimise plant performance; Deliver projects to optimise CHPP operation; Work closely with Operations, Mine Planning, Maintenance and Coal Mining personnel to ensure that feed quality and blend quality targets are met; and Achieve best practice for CHPP operating processes through the application of GCAA processing standards. About you: To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess: Process Engineering or Chemical/Metallurgical qualifications. Sound knowledge of Coal Preparation Process and Theories. Skilled in hazard identification and responsive to safety issues. Skilled in problem solving and production scheduling. Sound knowledge of Coal Supply Chains & Quality/Grade Control. Sound knowledge of IT programs and systems (SAP, Microsoft Suite). Working Knowledge of coal geology. Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
