This role will require you to build the trade marketing calendar and plan closely with your internal team and your channel partners' marketing calendars. It requires strong strategic skills, analysis and number crunching, along with planning, execution and attention to detail. Your responsibilities… You are responsible for working closely with product managers, marketing communications, sales and other stakeholders to drive strategy, sales and promotions through key wholesale/retail channels Manage trade marketing strategy and implementation Target tradesman and their retailers of choice via a range of communications vehicles Market and sales analysis Return on investment reporting on all marketing activities Stakeholder management Channel management and working closely with Key Account Managers CRM, eDM and digital marketing Management of your A&D budget New product launches Create “best practice” marketing activities Liaise cross functionally across the business Leadership skills and the ability to drive programs through the business You are… Marketing communications, trade marketing, channel marketing and or brand management experience with a focus on strategy and execution Appropriate marketing qualifications (degree preferred) Experience in consumer appliances, hardware, HVAC, plumbing or electrical channels would be an advantage Strong PC skills, in particular MS Excel Supreme organisation and influencing skills Exposure to successful loyalty programs will be well regarded Ability to lead, guide, charm, listen and mentor those around you as required Proactiveness, along with patience and persistence is a must!
