Our client, a well-regarded leader in the education sector, is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant or emerging Finance Manager to step into this rewarding 12-month fixed-term contract. Key Responsibilities Oversee the financial accounting function , including transactional accounting and cash-flow management Manage the full month-end process , including the preparation of the Leadership pack with results commentary Maintain data integrity within MYOB Advanced and the chart of accounts Prepare and review monthly reconciliations and reports Review working capital and cash-flow requirements daily Lead statutory compliance , including half-year and full-year external audits Review tax compliance issues arising from BAS and FBT Manage the government funding process , exploring new initiatives and handling compliance audits Support business administration and company secretarial work Lead and develop a team of 4 direct and 6 indirect reports across AR and Financial Accounting Key Requirements 5 years’ experience in Financial/Management Accounting or similar Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting CA or CPA qualification Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities If this sounds like the role for you, click APPLY NOW or email madi.towner@perigongroup.com.au
