About Roma Hospital (SWHHS): ED: 35 presentations/day, across all acuity levels Inpatient: 22 beds including palliative and isolation Maternity: 150 births/year (low-risk, plus antenatal care for high-risk/private patients) Theatre: 4 days/week – general surgery, ortho, gynae, urology, dental Imaging: CT, X-ray, ultrasound (on-call after hours) Pathology on-site, with blood products available Visiting specialists and Flying Surgical Services Transfers supported via RSQ to Toowoomba or PAH Outside the hospital: Roma is a proper regional hub, not a remote outpost.
