Job Description About the role As our Policy and Advocacy Lead – Emerging Communications , you’ll be the driving force behind our efforts to influence government policy and improve the digital platform space for everyone. You’ll work closely with our Policy & Regulatory Affairs and Media & Communications teams to design advocacy campaigns, build powerful stakeholder relationships, and shape the future of digital regulation. What you’ll be doing Lead the charge on strategic advocacy campaigns that make a difference. Build bridges with government, regulators, industry, and consumer groups. Craft compelling policy submissions, briefings, and reports that influence decision-makers. Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring trends and emerging issues in the digital space. Communicate with impact —from stakeholder strategies to sharp, persuasive messaging. Mentor and guide our new Senior Policy and Advocacy Officer. Who you will work with You will collaborate with a dynamic mix of leaders and changemakers—the Ombudsman, senior executives, media pros, and policy experts—plus key players across government, industry, and advocacy groups. Desired Skills and Experience Must-haves: A degree in Law, Public Policy, Political Science, or similar. Proven experience in advocacy, campaigns, and government relations. Strong policy chops and a knack for strategic communication. A solid grasp of legal concepts and political processes. Leadership skills and a collaborative spirit.
