CSNSW is where I found purpose.”— Psychologist, Corrective Services NSW Learn more: Click this link- Working with Corrective Services as a Psychologist What you’ll do As a Psychologist or Specialist Psychologist, you will: • Conduct clinical assessments and deliver one-on-one and group interventions • Provide expert advice on mental health, behavioural risks, and case planning • Develop and contribute to behavioural management plans and reintegration strategies • Maintain timely and accurate documentation using OIMS and departmental systems • Prepare psychological reports for courts, parole boards, and statutory review bodies (Specialist Psychologist only) What we’re looking for We want to hear from you if you: • Are passionate about working with complex and diverse individuals in a secure setting • Have experience or interest in forensic, correctional, or clinical psychology • Understand evidence-based assessment and intervention approaches for mental health, cognitive impairment, and behavioural needs • Are committed to ethical practice, personal resilience, and continuous professional growth Essential requirements • Minimum four-year accredited psychology qualification • Current provisional or full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA). • Interested in the Specialist Psychologist Grade?
