Fitters - Ongoing Shutdown Works If you are a Qualified Maintenance & Mechanical Fitter who possesses experience with Maintenance & Breakdown Shutdowns, Mining or relevant industry experience and are interested in a consistent, regular work schedule then this may be the right fit for you All Shutdowns are Port Kembla-based and without LAFA or travel allowances offered, so are best suited to those living locally or within a comfortable driving distance Major Shutdowns vary in duration from 2 days to 4 weeks, and compliment consistent weekend work If you meet all required criteria and would like to be considered, then please apply Some Upcoming Shutdowns: - Appin Coal: 3 Weeks - Hanson Concrete Plant: 5 Days - Sinterplant: 2 Weeks Pay : $50 PAYG Flat Hourly Rate Super Working Hours : 10-12 Hour Shifts Starts : 6am meet at contractor’s yard in Port Kembla, then collectively shuttled to work site Criteria: - Valid Trade Qualification & Tickets - Previous Shutdowns or relevant experience eg Mining, Heavy industry etc - Working at Heights (within 2 years) - Confined Spaces (within 2 years) - Whitecard - PPE: Hard Hat, Safety Boots, High Vis Long Pants & Long Sleeve Shirt - BlueScope Complyflow accreditation desirable - Own Basic Tools & Lockout Locks To Apply: Please submit your CV and relevant Trade Qualification & Tickets Alternatively, you can email me directly with the required documents, or for any questions via - Ben@labourconnect.com.au
