Your Opportunity Are you passionate about making a lasting impact on people’s lives? Join our Immediate Housing Response (IHR) service, where early intervention is key. We work with singles, couples, and young families experiencing or at risk of homelessness, helping them transition to long-term secure housing and build the skills needed to sustain their tenancies and avoid future housing stress. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team. You’ll play a vital role in supporting clients through their housing journey while collaborating with a range of services to deliver meaningful, lasting outcomes. Your key responsibilities will be to: Support clients transitioning from crisis or homelessness to stable housing. Develop tailored support plans and coordinate referrals. Assist clients in moving towards independence or ongoing services. Facilitate group case sessions and programs as needed. Build strong relationships with external service providers. Complete administrative tasks to support service delivery Requirements for Success Tertiary qualification (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Community Services) and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Experience in case management, crisis support, referrals, and advocacy. Professional boundaries and ethical practice. Strong communication and engagement skills. Good time management and organizational skills. Resilience, self-awareness, and commitment to personal development. Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
