About the Role This is a hands-on Maintenance Fitter role working across a well-equipped production facility. You’ll be responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance, fault finding, and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently. You’ll also collaborate with the wider operations team to support ongoing improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Carry out preventative maintenance and routine inspections Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently Support reliability and condition monitoring initiatives Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems Use the site’s CMMS to manage and document maintenance activities Work closely with production to minimise downtime Respond to breakdowns in a timely, safety-first manner About You Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade Solid experience as a Maintenance Fitter in FMCG or industrial environments Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems A proactive, team-focused mindset and strong communication skills Safety-first approach and commitment to continuous improvement What’s on Offer Day Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm (flexible start/finish times available) Regular overtime opportunities Long-term, stable employment with a respected manufacturer Supportive team and well-maintained machinery Strong culture of safety and collaboration How to Apply If you’re a skilled Maintenance Fitter looking for a long-term opportunity in a reputable Australian business, we want to hear from you.
