The FNQ Vocational Academy program is delivered over two years. Commencing in January of each year, the program provides students a pathway to study senior secondary subjects, participate in trade training, and complete work experience. The program is an opportunity for students to get a head start in a trade career. This program is delivered in conjunction with mentoring opportunities, career education, health and wellbeing programs, industry engagement, and financial literacy to develop resilient and ready workers. At the successful completion of the program, students will have completed two vocational qualifications and obtained their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE).
