As a Data Specialist – Analytics & Visualisation at Australian Retirement Trust, you’ll apply advanced analytics and data visualisation techniques to deliver accurate, user-friendly dashboards, reports, and interactive visualisations - using tools like Power BI, and languages such as DAX, M, and SQL, whilst ensuring alignment with best practices, data governance, and architectural standards. Working within an Agile environment, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand their needs, manage expectations, and deliver impactful solutions. Your work will span a variety of data domains, and you’ll actively contribute to uplifting data literacy and team capability. This role is a permanent opportunity. About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: Extensive experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services, and related tools. Strong programming skills in SQL, M, and DAX. Proven ability to apply effective data visualisation techniques and data modelling concepts. A track record of analysing complex datasets and delivering actionable insights. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
