Due to continued growth in our events portfolio, The Fresh Collective Brisbane is seeking experienced Function Supervisors to join our dynamic service team. This role offers the chance to work across our iconic Brisbane venues—Waters Edge at Portside Wharf, Riverlife at Kangaroo Point and Queensland Museum Kurilpa, in East Brisbane—delivering a diverse range of functions and events. No two days are the same! Key Responsibilities Lead and manage events across multiple spaces Receive detailed briefings from Event Managers Deliver outstanding client experiences across cocktail parties, conferences, and sit-down dinners Oversee all service aspects from setup to pack down Supervise a team of skilled waitstaff and bartenders Act as the primary client liaison throughout the event Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless service Maintain high standards of communication and professionalism Ideal Candidate Previous experience as a Head Waiter or Function Supervisor Background in 5-star hospitality preferred Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Exceptional attention to detail Passionate about creating memorable event experiences Requirements 6–12 months experience in a similar role within fast-paced, reputable venues Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for food and beverage Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid RSA certification RMLV desired About The Fresh Collective Sydney-based hospitality group, The Fresh Collective, operates a portfolio of cafés, restaurants and stores, and provides catering and event services across a number of iconic venues in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane — including the Art Gallery of NSW, the Australian Museum, the Queensland Museum, Museums Victoria, and the Sydney Theatre Company.
