To support our projects with our customers in Australia QR is currently expanding its activity and we are looking for a Design & Release engineer. As a Design & Release Engineer (Electrical/Electronics), you will be working within our customers, focussing on the design and delivery of the product as well as the alignment to project requirements and Australian standards. You will be required to coordinate compliance assessments across a range of electrical systems with relevant subject matter experts to align on project defined KPIs. We are looking for proactive and influential individuals to join a small team in our new QR Australia branch. Requirements Testing to ensure the products meets the design specification and intention and to ensure the product is suitable for a positive customer experience. Identify testing requirements for each program based on program content, regulations and requirements. Working across cross functional teams - chassis team, ADAS and EDS Organise test vehicle allocations with specific test parts with chassis Design and Release Knowledge of PCB design (schematics), electronic manufacturing quality, electrical testing, DFMEA, EMI, EMC Coordinate with Chassis engineers and workshop to understand and implement vehicle setup requirements including correct parts, software, instrumentation and test equipment. Ensure test equipment is calibrated to the correct standards. Conduct tuning and development of chassis systems and advanced features. Post process and summarise test data and complete detailed reports. Support investigation of test failures and provide input to solutions for the failures. You will have experience in: Design & Release Engineer in Electrical/Electronics Automotive experience and under standing of chassis system Understanding and knowledge of PCB drawings Ability to work independently when given tasks Plan and create schedule for multi-tasks. Work and communicate well with other groups, hold meetings with suppliers, factory and service members. Able to go to the actual place to see a failure and conceptualize how to solve the issue w/o waiting for detailed instructions.).
