Primary Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Drive and operate efficiently and safely all power equipment, and vehicles in accordance with DOT laws and regulations, Company and Customer Polies and Procedures on public highways, company and customer property. Operate and set up all necessary equipment in accordance with operation training and guidelines and safety procedures. Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective gear. Manually clean, install, and fit, repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets and all other external and internal equipment. Drive truck to destination and operate equipment to load or unload materials. Prepare customer delivery ticket for the product delivered and obtain a customer signature. Keep record of materials and products transported. Maintains records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, and shipping manifests according to the state and federal regulations. Complete daily pre-trip and DVIR. Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions. Able to read maps and follow written and verbal communication. Required Skills and Competencies Must be dependable, willing to work additional hours as required and be team oriented. Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures. Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous and industrial settings. Minimum Education and Experience Valid Class A or B CDL. Tanker and Hazmat Endorsement (or ability to get within the first 90 days). 1 year of CMV driving experience. Acceptable MVR/Background Check and pass pre-employment screenings. Work Environment Tools, equipment, machinery used: Hydroblasting, Vacuum Truck, and Tank cleaning equipment. Working conditions: Will be exposed to all weather conditions. Work on various structures and surfaces both at ground and elevated levels up to and possibly exceeding 150 ft. Work in confined spaces. Work a 12-hour shift with 30-minute lunch breaks. If requested, work overtime, and respond to emergency callouts whenever they occur. Work days, nights, and weekends. Travel to customers and other Miller sites as needed. Physical effort required: Handling tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 150 lbs. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, crawl, bend, squat, and kneel. Must be capable of climbing towers/vessels/tanks.
