Placement Details: Working Hours: Full-time (80 hours per fortnight), rotating through all shifts, including weekends. Shifts: 8-hour shifts with a maximum of 80 hours per fortnight; overtime applies after 80 hours worked per fortnight. Enjoy a well-deserved 8-hour break between shifts. Note: Overtime will not apply on a 12-hour rostered shift. About the Department – Care in the Right Setting (CaRS): Join the innovative team at Care in the Right Setting, an Integrated Model focusing on Hospital in the Home (HiTH), Geriatric Emergency Management Rehab-Hospital in the Home (GEMR-HiTH), Geriatric Emergency Department Intervention (GEDI), and more. We aim to provide tailored medical, nursing, and allied health care to patients in the most appropriate settings. Our team is dedicated to delivering quality care that meets the unique needs of each individual. Mandatory Experience/Skills/Requirements: Wide clinical experience in Emergency Department (ED), Surgical, Medical, Paediatrics, or previous HiTH experience. Proficiency in essential skills, including:Cannulation PICC line access Dressing skills, including Vacuum-Assisted Closure (VAC) Dressings and chronic wound care A valid current driver’s licence Aged Care National Police Certificate Desirable Experience: Knowledge of the Integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR) system and proficiency in its use. Previous experience working in Australia, particularly within Queensland Health and/or Mackay HHS.
