MONTAGUE BODY REPAIRS & CO is seeking two skilled and motivated Motor Mechanics to join our professional team. Key Responsibilities: Inspect and test vehicles to ensure functionality and compliance with regulations Perform routine preventive maintenance: engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation, wheel balancing, and filter replacements Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, and electrical system issues Conduct test drives and adjust systems for optimal performance Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed Comply with state vehicle safety and emission control standards Perform cleaning, washing, and basic paintwork for vehicle appearance Maintain shop equipment and ensure availability of required supplies Prepare vehicles for MOT tests and assess mechanical conditions Fit clutches, springs, brakes, and perform tyre repairs and fitting Rebuild engines and gearboxes; convert engines to LPG where required Install internal features and customize vehicles as per client specifications Provide professional advice on vehicle condition and repair costs Deliver roadside assistance and breakdown repairs when needed To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need: Proven experience as a motor mechanic Knowledge of diagnostic tools and automotive systems Ability to interpret and repair mechanical and electrical faults Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship Excellent time management and communication skills A proactive and team-oriented mindset What We Offer: Competitive and attractive salary Extensive factory training and development opportunities A modern, clean, and fully equipped workshop environment Strong team culture and dedicated management support Access to staff benefits including: Vehicle purchase and servicing discounts Apply Today!
