As a Counsellor, you will play a key role in supporting individuals to overcome barriers to employment by providing quality therapeutic interventions to both individuals and groups. You will foster and maintain strong referral relationships with key employees, ensuring participants receive the support they need to achieve sustainable and compliant outcomes. This position will be delivering services across multiple locations within the Murray and South East with a primary focus on delivering services in Murray Bridge. Key responsibilities: Provide ‘value add’ generalist counselling interventions to support participants in addressing personal and vocational barriers to employment. Perform assessments and maintain strong referral pathways with allied health services to support participant needs. Work collaboratively and provide consultation feedback to team members on interventions, referrals and operational matters whilst maintaining client confidentiality. Ensure quality professional practice in the development and provision of services to meet established KPI’s. Provide coaching, guidance and support to other staff as directed. About You Strong ability to build rapport and motivate individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with high level and complex needs. Experience in conducting assessments, developing case notes and report writing. Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution skills. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and attend to multiple tasks and priorities. Proven ability to achieve required outcomes and KPIs with minimal supervision and direction. Commitment to working collaboratively within a team environment to support participant outcomes. Key screening and requirements: Have a minimum degree or graduate diploma level qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counselling) is essential. Be willing to complete a Working with Children Check and National Police Check. Be willing to drive and hold a current and valid Full Driver licence. Be eligible to work in Australia.
