The Role Reporting to the Senior Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will play a pivotal role in supporting financial operations, reporting, compliance, and business planning. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional to contribute to a high-performing team in a varied and hands-on role. Responsibilities Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations, accrual schedules, and payroll reconciliations Prepare monthly management and financial reports Support budgeting, forecasting, and business case scenario modelling Assist in internal and external audit processes Monitor, analyse, and report on accounting data Manage contract administration and fixed asset entries Support compliance reporting including BAS, FBT, and other statutory requirements Review and contribute to policy and procedure development Collaborate with stakeholders on finance-related queries and provide financial insights Assist in the payroll function when required Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team The Candidate The ideal candidate will possess: Must have experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier environment Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance, with CPA or CA membership (or working towards) High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and time management skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders A proactive approach with demonstrated initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team How to Apply: To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
