THE ROLE Reporting to the ANZ Operations Manager, the Sort Centre Manager will take charge of daily operations, lead a team, and ensure the standards of safety, quality and delivery are constantly exceeded. This role will include: Overseeing day-to-day operations Managing and inspiring a team of 12 to ensure high performance and team engagement Championing a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with all company policies, safety, environmental, and quality standards Resource Management including planning labour coverage to align with budgets, SLAs, and delivery schedules Managing routine and breakdown maintenance activities and cleaning plans to maintain peak efficiency ABOUT YOU With prior experience in a similar role and ideally coming from a manufacturing background, you will be diligent, detailed orientated with strong management and customer care skills. You will also need: Previous proven experience in a leadership role within manufacturing (ideal), logistics or warehousing Strong people management and communication skills and the ability to lead, train, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment driving continuous improvement Strong business acumen and ability to manage budgets and KPI's across your team and division Forklift license (essential) Experience with SAP and mechanical maintenance / repair is highly desired REWARDS AND BENEFITS You will be rewarded with an attractive salary package including Base Super plus the opportunity to join a global organisation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
