A Central NSW hospital requires Senior Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine for the following date(s). Shift(s) details as below: from 22/09/2025 17:30 to 29/09/2025 08:00 at $2300 per day • Face-to-face clinical handover with day doctor at 1730 – 1800 and 0730 – 0800 in the Emergency Department. • You will be required to be onsite from 1730 to 2300. The on call doctor overnight is expected to attend the hospital when requested to attend by Nursing staff. • Provide medical care to inpatients, complete discharge summaries and review admitted patients as requested. • Provide onsite medical care to patients presenting to the emergency department. • Provide medical care to admitted postoperative patients. • Complete contemporaneous and comprehensive clinical documentation in eMR. • Provide and lead clinical review, rapid response, trauma and cardiac arrest services across the facility • Check pathology and radiology results in the ED results message centre ordered by any doctor, follow-up and document management plans for any results needed further action and review any patients returning for follow-up of results. • Provide surgical assistance in theatre when required. • Participate in the training and supervision of students, junior medical officers and registrars. • Participate in morbidity and mortality meetings, MDT meetings and other clinical meetings as requested.
