About the role The Accreditation Officer is responsible to participate in the implementation of systems, policies, procedures, and processes for the accreditation and monitoring of out of home care and adoption agencies. The role contributes to the development and continuous improvement of accreditation and monitoring systems and processes. We are seeking a motivated and resilient person to: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and operational procedures and contribute to the development and implementation of business processes and service improvement. Assess agencies for compliance with legislation, standards and guidelines. Prepare reports on matters associated with accreditation and monitoring. Provide advice and feedback to agencies on compliance matters and quality improvement strategies Key knowledge and experience Assessing the performance and compliance of varying agencies considering differing size and capacity. Maintaining accuracy and currency of business information whilst dealing with diverse stakeholders. Essential Requirements Qualifications in a relevant discipline, or equivalent knowledge and workplace experience including a commitment to ongoing professional development. Capacity and willingness to undertake frequent travel across NSW with regular overnight stays.
