About the role: We're on the lookout for a hands-on, solutions-focused Full Time Facilities Supervisor to help keep our world-class venues running at their best! Based at the State Basketball Centre and reporting to the Facilities Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining our assets – from plant and equipment to building fabric, furniture, and fittings. You'll lead the charge on planned and reactive maintenance, work closely with the venue manager, project teams and contractors, and be the go-to contact for repair and maintenance needs. As the Facilities Supervisor your primary responsibilities will include: Support the Facilities Manager in delivering reactive and preventative maintenance across the venue Carry out and oversee maintenance and repair works, either directly or via contractors Act as the Duty Technician during events, responding to base building and system issues Use the CMMS to log, track, and complete work orders, while maintaining warranty and asset records Assist with asset procurement, stock control, and ensure equipment remains compliant and fit for use Support contractor management by ensuring compliance, assisting with inductions, and monitoring work Monitor the Building Management System for energy efficiency and escalate any issues Uphold safety standards and OHS policies, participating in emergency response and drills Required skills and Qualifications: Knowledge of OH&S Act and regulations Minimum 3 years previous experience with maintaining major facilities/buildings Demonstrated general practical aptitude across all general building trades.
