ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: We are looking for a Supported Employment Lead to provide day-to-day management of our Ground Works business . The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring processes are in line with NDIS standards and Unisson’s policies and procedures. The key responsibilities of the position include: Ensure the work environment is safe by conducting regular workplace safety inspections, developing and reviewing of Safe Work Procedures for all jobs Lead and develop the team by holding regular team meetings that include the Supported Employees and providing feedback on job performance . Effectively manage staffing levels and ratios ensuring that employees are working contracted hours consistently and balancing planned leave requests. Support and develop Employment Facilitators to ensure they are capable of developing strategies to overcome vocational and non-vocational barriers to maintaining employment for Supported Employees, while ensuring the delivery of commercial work meets the external stakeholders’ standards. Manage the operations of business unit, including procurement, contract negotiations, invoicing and coordinate external wage assessments for Supported Employees OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in the disability sector Experience in understanding and dealing with business situations Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written Emotional intelligence, patience, resilience, and capacity to perform the work Demonstrate leadership skills TO APPLY: Please attach a cover letter and an updated resume.
