This major project will see construction of 8km of single lane highway with approximately 2.5 km of bridge structures and upgrades to local intersections. For this project, we are looking for a Senior Contracts Administartor to bolster the Commercial team. Key Responsibilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently identify potential opportunities and resolve contractual risks. Strong decision-making skills to make informed decisions based on contract analysis and project requirements. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, as well as negotiation skills to build strong and effective relationships, and manage and mediate disputes with internal and external stakeholders. High level of integrity in adhering to ethical standards and company policies in all contract management activities. Strong people management skills Required Skills and Competencies Tertiary qualification in commerce, engineering, law or relevant discipline (Essential) Work Safely in Construction (White Card) (Essential) Demonstrated experience effectively managing claims and disputes (Essential) Experience on major construction projects (Desirable) Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills Detailed knowledge of the Security of Payments Act (SOPA) and other relevant State and Federal laws and regulations.
