About the Role: Student Support Officer encompasses a range of responsibilities focused on providing assistance, guidance, and support to students throughout their academic journey. The incumbent will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment by providing comprehensive support services to students. Roles & Responsibilities Ensure prompt and effective communication with students to address their queries and concerns. Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the overall student experience and satisfaction. Monitor academic progress, identify at-risk students, and collaborate with academic staff for intervention. Develop and implement strategies to address the mental health and well-being of students, ensuring access to appropriate resources Implement strategies to identify and support at-risk students, contributing to improved retention and academic outcomes Streamline administrative processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy in managing student records. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, counselling, social work, psychology) Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within an educational or academic environment is often preferred Experience in managing administrative tasks or student records might be required or beneficial, depending on the specific responsibilities of the role Expertise in academic advising, personal development, mental health, or well-being.
