About the Role We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join us as the Branch Manager at our branch in Mackay. In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and profitability of the dealership, as well as coaching and mentoring the team and building and maintaining long-term customer relationships. This is a key leadership position so we are looking for someone with extensive truck maintenance experience and technical knowledge. You will also have developed knowledge of Kenworth and DAF products and have the ability to operate in a fast paced and busy environment. A background in service would be advantageous for this role. Responsibilities of the Role Ensuring the branch provides exceptional and professional customer service and nurtures existing customer relationships Working with the departmental managers to set and achieve budgets and goals and ensure the efficient operations of their departments Analysing and acting on monthly profit and loss reports Managing cash flow, creditors and debtors for the branch Developing the business by pursuing existing customer expansion and seeking out new business opportunities Cold call and provide quotes to customers Ensuing continuous improvement; evaluating current needs, anticipating future needs of the branch and recommending changes or new provisioning to the Regional Manager Setting examples in good behaviour, work ethic, responsibility and initiative for staff to follow Attending Company, customer, supplier and work-related functions and conferences as required What we’re looking for Proven success in a similar role with truck dealership experience Sales experience Service experience Experience in a leadership role managing a team Strong people skills including customer service, communication, collaboration, negotiation and dispute resolution skills The ability to multitask and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Knowledge of Kenworth and DAF experience (preferred) Why join us?
