About the role: As an Accountant in our Business Advisory division, you’ll work closely with a diverse client base, providing tailored advice and practical solutions. You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team environment where your professional growth is a priority, and your contributions are valued. Key responsibilities: Assist with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards; Apply knowledge of client/firm/industry trends and current issues; Prepare clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed; Check financial statements and management accounts eliminating adding, referencing and typing errors; Help identify accounting issues; Apply basic tax compliance procedures; Assist with tax planning for clients; Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts; Complete requisite regulatory forms; and Comply with lodgment program by meeting lodgment dates and requirements.
