You’ll be leading the charge in shaping how risk culture is understood, measured, and evolved across Westpac. This role is all about driving strategic programs that uncover behavioural insights, strengthen cultural maturity, and embed a consistent approach to risk across the Group. You’ll partner with senior leaders, design tools and frameworks, and deliver deep, data-informed narratives that influence decision-making at every level. You’re a strategic thinker with a human lens—able to connect dots across data, behaviour, and business outcomes. Here’s what will set you up for success: Strategic mindset with cultural fluency – You understand how behaviours shape outcomes and can translate complex cultural insights into actionable strategies that influence decision-making at the highest levels. Facilitation and engagement expertise – You’re skilled at leading focus groups, interviews, and workshops that uncover deep insights and foster alignment across diverse stakeholder groups. Analytical depth – You’re comfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative data, and can distil complex findings into compelling narratives using tools like SPSS or SAS. Change leadership – You’ve led cultural or behavioural change initiatives, and know how to navigate resistance, build momentum, and embed sustainable shifts in mindset. Influence and collaboration – You build trust quickly, negotiate with purpose, and know how to bring people on the journey—whether it’s a regulator, a board member, or a frontline team.
