The Communication & Marketing branch provides leadership for Austrade's role as a trade and investment promotion agency from a brand, marketing and communications perspective. The Strategic Marketing & Communications Adviser will work closely with the Strategic Marketing and Communications manager to develop, implement and measure communication and marketing strategies including; integrated paid and organic campaigns. The Strategic Marketing & Communications Adviser: Is an experienced performance marketer. Is an outstanding project and end-to-end campaign manager and content creator with experience developing and implementing integrated, organic and paid digital marketing campaigns and content projects. Is passionate about digital marketing, performance and analytics across paid, owned and earned channels who can deliver and act on data driven insights. Has experience developing content and campaigns that cut through and inspire audience action utilising a variety of content types and channels. The key duties of the position include Developing and project managing end-to-end digital marketing campaigns, content projects and content development including: Working closely with Austrade's brand, digital direct mail, web and social teams to ensure best practice in terms of brand and user/audience experience. Briefing and managing creative and media agencies. Developing channel plans and ongoing organic content calendars to maximise opportunities to leverage Austrade and industry channels. Creating and testing high-quality and engaging content for a variety of channels e.g. articles, infographics, videos, social media, DDMs, etc. Ensuring compliance with Government campaign protocols, processes, and requirements for implementing domestic campaigns including relevant procurement processes. Monitoring and managing campaign performance - including providing and implementing performance optimisation recommendations and campaign moderation where required. Working with relevant team members and agencies to develop campaign performance reports. Sharing insights on campaign and content performance in a meaningful way with the broader communications and marketing teams and key stakeholders.
