We’re partnering with a respected aged care provider to find a Digital Systems Trainer & IT Support Specialist , a hands-on role created to uplift digital capability and support effective technology use across residential aged care homes. About the Role In this hybrid, field-based position, you’ll spend most of your time on-site with aged care teams, helping staff build confidence with digital tools while making sure systems run smoothly. You’ll audit current system usage, deliver engaging on-site training, mentor IT champions in each home, and troubleshoot issues before they escalate. You’ll also coordinate with external IT vendors and support the rollout of systems in new and refurbished homes. This is a role where you’ll be both the face of digital training and the go-to for everyday IT challenges, making a real difference to how care is delivered. Key Responsibilities Training and Enablement Deliver practical, hands-on training to frontline staff and create easy-to-follow resources Mentor IT champions at each site to build local capability and reduce reliance on external support Support teams to stay audit-ready and confident in everyday tech use Technical Oversight and Support Audit technology use across homes, identify opportunities for improvement, and coordinate support with IT vendors Monitor help desk trends and provide targeted follow-up or training where needed Assist with equipment ordering and ensure appropriate use of resources Collaboration and Continuous Improvement Work closely with centre managers, builders, and consultants to support system rollouts in new and refurbished homes Share insights and recommendations with head office to guide system improvements and staff engagement Ensure new homes are well-supported through the early operational phase Troubleshooting and Strategy Investigate recurring issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions Track and reduce after-hours support needs through better training and proactive support Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in digital capability across all sites What You’ll Bring Experience delivering IT training or support in aged care, healthcare, or a similar environment Solid technical knowledge of systems like nurse call, Wi-Fi, access control, telephony, or clinical tech Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain tech in simple terms A proactive, independent approach and confidence working across multiple locations Experience managing or coordinating external IT providers A current driver’s license and access to your own car (regular travel is required) Experience with change management or digital transformation is a plus Why This Role You'll be joining a team that sees technology as a tool to enable better care, not just a system to maintain.
