I am looking for detail-oriented people to help with a critical task: rechecking the voting papers from the Tasmanian Election - North Tas . This is a Launceston based short-term role with a big impact - perfect for those who pride themselves on accuracy and want to be part of something meaningful. Dates: Monday 21 July to Friday 25 July (assignment may conclude early if counting has been completed) Hours: 8.30am to 5.00pm each day Location: Tasmanian Electoral Commission site - North Tas (details provided upon placement) What you'll be doing: Accurately rechecking the count of ballot papers Following set procedures for verification Ensuring accuracy and upholding electoral integrity Eligibility Criteria: ✅ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy ✅ Ability to focus on repetitive tasks with diligence ✅ Willingness to sign political neutrality and confidentiality declarations ✅ Australian Working Rights Background in banking, finance or previous TEC experience highly regarded This is a unique chance to get involved in the electoral process behind the scenes - and get paid for it.
