What you’ll be doing Oversee the entire product development process, ensuring collections are delivered on time, within budget, and to brief. Collaborate closely with designers to translate creative concepts into technically sound, production-ready products. Run and document fit sessions, manage size specs, and maintain core blocks to guarantee consistency across the range. Develop and refine tech packs, ensuring every detail — from construction to grading and BOMs — is accurate and up to date. Build strong relationships with offshore manufacturers, managing sampling rounds, troubleshooting technical challenges and driving quality outcomes. Implement wear testing and performance trials to validate that products meet real-world demands before sign-off. Contribute to special collections and one-off initiatives, bringing a proactive, solutions-focused mindset to new projects. Mentor and develop a small team of garment techs, fostering an environment of learning, accountability and shared expertise. Communicate clearly across the business, helping commercial, marketing and retail teams understand product details and technical considerations. What you’ll bring Proven experience managing the end-to-end development of apparel, ideally within performance, activewear or technical categories. Strong garment engineering knowledge, with a passion for delivering the perfect fit and finish. Confidence working with global suppliers, managing timelines and resolving issues to keep projects on track. Experience leading or mentoring a technical team, with a collaborative leadership style. Excellent communication skills — able to break down complex technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
